How UAB commits performed in Week 2 of high school football –

The high school football season is in its second week and UAB commitments are finding early success with their teams.

Here’s a look at how UAB commits faired in the second week of action:
Jaxon Potter, QB, Santa Margarita (Calif.): Potter finished 21-of-34 passing for 289 yards and 4 touchdowns in a 36-14 win over Norco, leading his team to a 2-0 record to open the season.
Jake Godfrey, WR, Spanish Fort: The Toros’ do-it-all athlete led the Spanish Fort rushing attack in a 16-6 win over Blount on Friday. Godfrey had 29 carries for 113 yards and a touchdown.
Christopher Bracy, CB, St. Paul’s: Bracy, who is being recruited as a cornerback, led the St. Paul’s running game with 61 yards and a score in a 16-3 victory over McGill-Toolen.
Michael Towner, DL, Vigor: Towner had 6 tackles (2 for loss), 3 quarterback hurries and a sack in a 20-7 loss to B.C. Rain on Thursday.
Emmanuel Waller, DL, Oak Mountain: After suffering an injury in the first half of last week’s game, Waller returned for the Eagles this week while collecting 4 tackles (2 for loss) and a sack in a 21-17 win over Pelham.
Christopher Pearson, S, Orange Beach: The Makos did not play and open their season next week at home against Jackson.
