Soccer on TV today: Channels, streams for live games in USA and Canada on Tuesday, June 28 – Sporting News

U.S. national team fans have a doubleheader of action on Tuesday, June 28, as the Copa Libertadores and Copa Sudamericana also return with the opening set of Round of 16 matches.
A ticket to the 2023 FIFA Under-20 men’s World Cup will be on the line when the USA men’s U-20 team faces Costa Rica in a regional tournament. Two other tickets to the men’s U-20 World Cup will be handed out: Panama vs. Honduras and the European playoff between Slovakia and Austria will both see the winner clinch a berth.
The U.S. women’s national team will play a few hours later when it hosts Colombia in a friendly. It’s the final tuneup ahead of the CONCACAF W Championship which will have World Cup and Olympic berths on the line. That tournament kicks off July 4.
The Round of 16 in the Copa Libertadores and Copa Sudamericana gets underway with the opening set of first leg matchups, and the question (as always) will be who can stop the Brazilian clubs. Four of them will be in action with the Libertadores showdown between Brazil’s Corinthians and Argentine giants Boca Juniors being the pick of the lot (8:30 p.m. ET).
