Indian TikTok CEO Nikhil Gandhi quits TikTok company after a year of TikTok ban !!!

* Nikhil Gandhi was the Head of India, Africa, Turkey and South Asia

* He was the one who was working to bring TikTok back to India

* After so many efforts, He decided to Quit the CEO post of TikTok India

* TikTok was having the biggest market from India around 200 million users

Nikhil Gandhi who was the head of India, Africa, Turkey and South Asia market exited from the company ByteDance – Which was a short video platform. At first, it was called musically then renamed TikTok. Nikhil Gandhi joined the company in 2019 ahead of India & South. Later in late 2021, he was made as META Head of Indian & South Asian Market. 

He has worked for around 20 years in different companies, like Bennett Coleman and Co Ltd, Viacom18 and UTV. Nikhil Gandhi was also the Vice President of Walt Disney Company in India for around 10 years i.e from 2007-2017. He was president of COO Times Network before joining to ByteDance [TikTok].

Nikhil Gandhi clearly stated that ” I am going to quit TikTok India for my lifetime. I have tried my level best to bring Tiktok back to India. But it’s not in my hand now. So, I should think about my plans & my goals. So I am exiting from ByteDance – Which was a short video platform. I was the head of Indian & South Asia Market of TikTok Family”.

Nikhil Gandhi and his team tried to do whatever they can but unfortunately, TikTok didn’t come back to India. As a result, many companies started making a copy of them & all of them launched their short videos platform. But TikTok was the King of Short Videos. Now in youtube like shorts, Mx Taka Taka, Moj India, Josh India, Wynk shorts, Jio Savvan shorts, etc. many are running. But they don’t have a Volume like Tiktok.

Why did TikTok got banned in India?

TikTok with over 200 million Indian users making a market all over the world. With the help of TikTok, many people became Social Media influencers & Celebrities. They started to make a livelihood from TikTok. As of this TikTok was also making much much more money from them. 

Then comes the Cringe people, TikTok was becoming like worst, People are becoming Animals and animals are becoming humans, Boys to girls and girls to boys. There was no content in the videos but also getting millions of likes. This is only a single reason to ban TikTok. Many youngsters have become mad about this TikTok scrolling.

Then comes the Privacy issues, TikTok is a Chinese company, All Indians data were sent to the Chinese government. In Chinese there is a law, if any company wants to open in China they should follow all the rules and give them every detail or anything when the government is needed.

So as for the Condition of Indians, all the data & Privacy were breached and given to the Chinese government. So India Plan to Ban TikTok from the whole nation.
